We can handle anything

Hello everyone for this months Clarity  challenge its SQUARES AND CIRCLES we are in autumn now so I thought how about some ivy leave so this is what I came up with  give you a list of what I used

Clarity the other card
Artistry ink pads lime kiss collection
Versamark stamp pad /Talcum powder
Cosmic shimmer Aurora embossing powder
Clarity stencil brushes
Clarity stamp club stamp ivy leaves /Clarity sentiment stamp
Promarkers
Heat gun /Pinflair glue gel
Maroon card

Lets begin

I cut three square of the other card so that they would sit nicely together on my maroon card
use your talc over the three cards lightly so that the embossing powder does not stick to places you don't want I began with the smallest piece of card stamped with the versa mark ink pad then applied the embossing powder tap the back of card to take any excess of the  card that is not needed when happy with this use your heat gun don't hold to close to the card as don't wish to burn the card and soon as melted move on as you can over cook the powder then will become dull

Now I put all three cards together so that I could stamp my ivy over them all to get the 3D effect is a bit difficult but do bit at a time keep replacing the card where they join then when you are happy with what you have done make sure that you clear away any powders as it gets a bit messy loose powder

With stencil brushes and greens oranges and yellows add your colour little bit at a time can always add more but cant take it away. when happy with this choose your promarkers and colour the leaves I now used pinflair glue to give the height so the sentiment is the highest now wait for this to completely dry before adding to your base care hope you have enjoyed this project thank you for visiting my blog

Square and circle Elephant

Hello every one well another month has gone by already this month Clarity challenge is SQUARES AND CIRCLES so I choose this Elephant from Clarity Groovi club do like these elephants you can do so many occasions with this one well lets begin

Clarity groovi starter pack / Square plate / circle plate
Clarity parchment / parchment tools / parchment scissors
Clarity groovi club system / Elephant from groovi club / small square plate
Clarity groovi straight prinking plate /Clarity Straight corner punch
Clarity groovi black board
Claritys new Boarder holder System
Clarity New boarder pattern pricking plate
Polychromo colour pencils

Lets get started

Use A tumble dryer sheet over your parchment so your tools glide smoothly  do your embossing and white work and colouring on the reverse but your pricking from the front
With your square plate in main groovi system work out which square you would like I used the outer size but did the inner square two deep, Then your circle plate in should fit just tight between the square but only gone down one circle on this for the boarder

Now with The small Groovi system from club or if you have the adapter to put small plates in I put my Elephants in

Now put in your square plate in and add little squares to the corners Put your pricking mat underneath the boarder system and have the right side of your parchment for all pricking  Find the right pattern to put in these my idea was to emboss one square and cut out the next and so on Go to main groovi system And straight groovi plate with number two tool on the reverse still put in the dots between the square and circles

with your soft side of your black board or blue start adding the whiting but with the 4 tool don't rub to hard want light feather strokes as it is important as it will buckle and it does well to rest the work go put the kettle on have tea or coffee and start again each time it will get slightly whiter

Back to the groovi system I decided to put squares in the circles so that I could emboss circle dots as I felt it needed something
Now back to your hard side of your board add your colours I wanted to keep to bronze pinks greys for this but still on the reverse side of parchment

With your parchment scissors holding them flat with slight twist make your cuts when I had done this I used my soft board again and also whiten the inner part of the elephants ears felt this made the ears come to life
I cut around this work leavening a boarder so I could fit this nicely to backing gold card with punch

Well I hope this has been useful to you all and you have enjoyed doing this like I have thank you for coming along to my sight hope you will come back again soon xx
